Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Tartaric Acid effervescent 

What Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Tartaric Acid is used for:

    It is used for treating acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and constipation.
    Magnesium Hydroxide is an antacid.
    It works by neutralizing the acid in the stomach and by stimulating the bowels to move.

Do not take Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Tartaric Acid if:

    You are allergic to any of the ingredients 
    You have severe stomach problems 
    You have an intolerance to some sugars

Warnings & Precautions:

    Use with caution if:
    You have heart, kidney or liver problems 
    You have diabetes 
    You need a laxative dose every day, or you have persistent abdominal pain, or if symptoms persist 
    You are elderly, or feel very weak
    You are on a controlled sodium diet (each level teaspoon of powder contains 185 mg sodium) 
    You are pregnant or breastfeeding

Possible Side Effects:

    These include
    Tiredness or weakness 
    Nausea/vomiting 
    Light headedness 
    Other medicines and Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Tartaric Acid
    Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements.
    It may interact with the following drugs and products:
    Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin) because the risk of their side effects may be increased
    Azole antifungals (eg, ketoconazole), bisphosphonates (eg, alendronate), cation exchange resins (eg, sodium polystyrene sulfonate), cephalosporins (eg, cephalexin), mycophenolate, penicillamine, quinolone antibiotics (eg, ciprofloxacin), or tetracyclines (eg, doxycycline) because their effectiveness may be decreased.

How to take Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Tartaric Acid: 

    Adults: 
    For upset stomach, heartburn, indigestion, feeling sick: One or two teaspoonfuls.
    For constipation: Take two teaspoonfuls before breakfast or at bedtime 
    Children of 3 years and over:
    Reduce the amount above according to size and age. 
    Check the inner seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the powder. 
    Use a dry spoon to measure. 
    Mix the amount recommended below with a glass of water and drink the solution, before it stops fizzing. 

How to store Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Tartaric Acid: 

    Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
    Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. 
    Do not freeze.
    Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into drainage unless instructed to do so.
