Tribenoside/Lidocaine Suppositories: Each suppository contains: Tribenoside 400mg, Lidocaine 40mg

What Tribenoside/Lidocaine is used for :

Tribenoside/Lidocaine suppositories are intendend for the local relief of hemorrhoids.

Tribenoside/Lidocaine cream is intended for relief of internal and external hemorrhoids.

Tribenoside: reduces the permeability of blood vessels and possesses an inhibitory effect on a series of substances which play a significant role in the inflammatory process and the occurrence of pain.

Lidocaine: A local anesthetic, relives pain and itching.

Do not use Tribenoside/Lidocaine if :

You are allergic to the active ingredients or to any of the additional ingredients contained in the medicine.

Warnings and precautions :

Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including, if:

You suffer from liver disease

There is loss of blood, anal pain and high fever for more than a week

Possible side effects :

Tribenoside/Lidocaine can cause serious side effects. These side effects happen only to a small number of people and include:

Allergic reactions

Burning

Itching

Other medicines and Tribenoside/Lidocaine

Tell your doctor or pharmacists if you are taking or have taken other medicines, including non-prescription medicines or nutritional supplements.

How to use Tribenoside/Lidocaine :

Do not exceed the rcommended dose

Do not swallow. For external use only.

Suppositories:

Wash your hands thoroughly.

Remove the wrapper from the suppository and wet it with some water.

Lie on your side, insert the suppository as deep as you can into the rectum using a finger.

Wash your hands after inserting the suppository.

Cream:

Thoroughly clean and dry the rectal area.

Gently apply a small amount of the cream to the area.

Internal use: attach the screw-on plastic applicator to the tip of the tube. Insert the applicator into the rectum and squeeze the tube. Remove the applicator and wash it with hot water and soap. Close the tube with the cap.

How to store Tribenoside/Lidocaine :

Keep out of children’s reach.

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date “EXP” that appears on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Store below 25°C.
