What Hydrophilic Methacrylate is used for:

Hydrophilic Methacrylate gel is used to treat different types of wounds and skin injuries, ranging from acute wounds such as grazes, cuts, surgical wounds and burns, to chronic wounds like ulcers and bedsores.

Do not use Hydrophilic Methacrylate:

If you’re allergic to the active substance or any other component of this medicine.

Warnings and precautions:

Ask your doctor before using on sensitive areas or infected skin. 

Possible side effects:

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Possible side effects include:

• Redness
• Pain 
• If you experience side effects contact your doctor.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.

How to use Hydrophilic Methacrylate :

• This product is for external use.
• Use as indicated by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before and after.
• Clean your wound from impurities.
• Apply  a  small  amount  of  the  gel  onto  the  whole  wound  undersurface.
• Cover the wound with a non-absorbent sterile material and fix with a bandage or plaster.
• Redress as necessary every 24 –48 hours. Do this more frequently in the case of infected wounds.

How to store Hydrophilic Methacrylate :

• Store at room temperature 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C).
• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
