Benzocaine 1%, Phenazone 5%, Ear Drops:

What Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops product is used for:


    Analgesic ear drops for otitis media. Used to treat minor infections of the outer ear.

    This generic drug is indicated in the following cases:

    Acute otitis media of various etiologies

    Prompt relief of pain and reduction of inflammation in the congestive and serous stages

    Adjuvant therapy during systemic antibiotic administration for resolution of the infection


Do not use Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops:


    Hypersensitivity to one of the components

    Tympanic membrane perforation


Warnings and precautions:


    If you have a perforated eardrum, or think you may have, consult your doctor before you use this medicine.

    Do not use for more than 7 days.

    Do not give Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops to children under 12 years of age.

    Avoid contact with the eyes


How to use Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops:

For adults and children aged 12 years and over.


    Adult: 4-6 drops 3-4 times daily depending on the severity of inflammation


How to store Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops:


    Store between 15°-25°C (59°- 77°F).

    Protect from light and heat.

    Keep out of reach of children.
