Defonase 100 Ml Syrup

Defonase Syrup is an effective medicine designed for the fast relief of allergy and cold symptoms.

This syrup provides long-lasting relief from congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes, helping you get back to your daily routine.

Active Ingredients and Uses:

The active ingredients are Loratadine 5 mg per 5 ml and Pseudoephedrine 30 mg per 5 ml.

• It is used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever and seasonal allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose and eyes, and watery eyes.

• It is used to relieve nasal and sinus congestion associated with allergies or colds.

• It provides long-lasting relief without excessive drowsiness and helps clear congestion.

Dosage and Administration:

The dose for adults and children over 12 years is 10 ml once daily.

For children aged 6 to 12 years (body weight over 30 kg): 5 ml once daily, or as directed by your doctor.

For children aged 2 to 5 years (body weight under 30 kg): Not recommended except under close medical supervision.

The dose can be taken with or without food. A measuring spoon can be used for accuracy.

Common side effects:

• This medication may cause symptoms such as headache, insomnia, dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, and stomach upset.

• Some people may experience a rapid heartbeat or increased blood pressure due to pseudoephedrine.

Warnings and precautions:

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Contraindicated in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe hypertension, severe heart disease, enlarged prostate, hyperthyroidism, or uncontrolled diabetes.

Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney or liver disease, or are taking other medications, especially MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors).
