Product Description:

From the family of antibiotics (nitrofurantoin), it is used to treat acute diarrhea that is believed to be caused by intestinal bacteria in the absence of other causes such as systemic infection such as (fever, signs of poisoning).

Nifuroxazide is a broad-spectrum gastrointestinal antiseptic for the treatment of diarrhea and gastroenteritis, ensuring a rapid clinical response and contributing to reducing the effects of dehydration.
It is considered an intestinal disinfectant free of systemic side effects. It does not develop plasmid resistance, but it has a significant effect against bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics.
Nifuroxazide is considered a drug that has a high degree of tolerance and is safe at the same time and is not affected by the pH of stomach acid or the type of food.

Instructions for use:

Nifuroxazide is used in the following cases:

Acute and chronic diarrhea.
Inflammation of the stomach and intestines.
Acute and chronic colitis.
An intestinal disinfectant for all types of diarrhea and other intestinal infections.
Travel diarrhea.

What are the doses of nifuroxazide and methods of use?

Recommended dosage:

Adults: One capsule 4 times daily.

children:

2 months - 1 year: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times daily.
Over one year: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 4 times daily.

Elderly: One capsule 4 times daily.
